Pondering.. Musing.. just Thinking

This is the type of day I would like to be sitting on a balcony somewhere, with an ice cold glass of tea or diet coke.. thinking.

I have noticed that my mind is running 90-to-nothing these days.

I am staying up late, hardly able to sleep, and hardly eating. (The latter could be considered the stress-diet.) ;-)

Don't worry. I am fine. I am just a little "keyed up." A little frazzled. A little ... stressed.

Things have returned to peaceful in the Abdou house. That is GOOD. We have an understanding about the separate vacations. I still wish I could see his family, but he needs some alone time with them.

I am excited about the possibilities with Thailand.. or if that does not pan out - WHEREVER. I am going somewhere and it will involve a passport.

Work is heading into high gear for the Start! Heart Walk season. LOTS of promotion. LOTS of sponsors to make happy and promote their involvement. Just LOTS of things to do .. to sort out.. to.. whatever.

Got the home nice and organized. That's a relief.

What am I thinking about? What is on my mind?

What? What? What?

1. Education. It breaks my heart to see people just settle for mediocre. Do something. Learn something. Be passionate about something.

2. White Flags. Never surrender. What is the point? Dig your heels in and change it up a bit. Leave while you are on top.

3. Stand up for what you believe in. Don't be afraid of rejection. Trust your instincts.

4. Always believe in love. Even when it does not seem to believe in you.

5. This too shall pass.

I can't go into specifics. But friends, family, associates - etc - are ALL going through major lifestyle changes. Everyone seems to be on the brink of something... transitional.

I have spent the past week at home alone. (the egyptian works 3-11pm.) It has been quiet. Many of my "people" are swirling in their own miseries. It has afforded me plenty of time to ponder.. to muse.. to think.

What are the truths you have learned this week?

5 very wonderful truths indeed! MY truths are probably not half as deep... I would have to think about that one! :)

I agree with all 5 points you hit on there. It is freaky what happens when we are left alone with our thoughts isn't it? Sometimes it is good though!
