Family Visit - Day #1

My family drove over from Georgia today to spend Thanks giving with me. It was nice to actually have some visitors for once! For whatever reason, it is hard to get people to come to Alabama. LOL Can't imagine why! ;-)

Here is a photo journey of day #1. I hope you enjoy!

This morning I made sure all of my decorations were out of the storage unit!

Fluffed the pillows for my niece!

Made sure I had plenty of snacks for the crew!

Burned my Spiced Cake candle.

Dusted off the pictures!

Dusted the knick knacks

That's me - today!

They arrived! Autumn ran straight to my bed. She calls it the princess bed.

My sister and my mom enjoying some coffee/water after their very long drive.

Autumn showed me her dance moves.

Barbie came for a visit

Dad hanging out!

My dad - a little tired, to say the least.

I swear, my sister cannot use my camera properly - but here we are - about to go out shopping!

Autumn chatting with me in the car.

Autumn picked out her very own living room suite at World Market and insisted the papparazzi were not allowed in her home.

After an afternoon of shopping - we headed back to my place and I made taco salads for everyone. Believe it or not - she cleaned her plate!

Everyone looks grumpy - but I swear they are in a good mood. LOL Perhaps it's the camera in their face as they eat.. I don't know..

My Taco Salad.

I bought Autumn a special Barbie Cup. This year (year 4) she is really into Barbie.

Sooo.. I pulled out all of my ornaments.

Here is the other end of the table

The Fairy Godmother from Cinderella - I have had her since I was 4

I am putting my artificial tree together. I am allergic to the real ones, but MAN - they smell good. Excuse my jacked up bang-pulled-back look. LOL

Autumn decided to sit in the tree box and "do her homework."

Sort of got it together. Still needs some fluffing.

Autumn was telling me where to put ornaments.

Got it together and even put a few presents under the tree.

I love to do that!

Sooo - yes, I survived day 1 of the family visit! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and we have a LOT TO DO!
I hope you all have a wonderful day!
