Capturing Moments

What a pleasure it is to be able to go somewhere and take pictures. Seriously, I enjoy it so much. I would say I am into "photography" - but no. I am no photographer. But I do enjoy taking photographs of people/places/things.

Sometimes I get it right, and sometimes the pictures need a little help.

In just a few hours, I will be making my trek over to Georgia to visit my family. I plan to "document" my trip and share with you the highlights (and hopefully not too many lo-lights.)

Pending on time the egyptian gets off work, we will either leave around 3ish or around 6:30ish. Which puts us in Middle Georgia by the evening, if not later. Sadly, my little silly girl (Autumn, my niece) will be sound asleep. I really hate that I have to wait until the next morning to see her!

Saturday morning, I hope to be able to play outside with her and visit the dogs. *sigh* I really miss having pets, so it is such a treat to be able to go home and love on my vampire cat as well as the dogs.

Around noon, I will go over to a park with my family and help them set up for the Pirate Party. My sister has rented a Pavillion at this new park in their community, and they have invited Autumn's Pre-K class to celebrate her 5th birthday! THIS is what I have been waiting for. Birthdays where she is fully aware of what is going on, and can truly get excited about everything. I realize that being on WW and going to a kids birthday party can be dangerous, so I will tread those waters very carefully.

That night I am hoping to get together with some of my friends from High School. It will be nice to see some people, have a few laughs, and just be. You guys that still live in your hometown have no idea how refreshing it is to go home from time to time. No, I would not want to live there again, but it makes it great to visit from time to time.

Sunday is Easter - I hope that (for those of you who celebrate Easter) has a wonderful holiday. I am looking forward to Easter Egg hunts with Autumn. I bought some glitter PAS stuff, hopefully we will get to make the egg with my junk.

Today will be a long day for me, between driving 4 hours and sitting at the VW dealorship for an oil change (and for whatever reason, it always takes them HOURS to do it.) Luckily I am "mostly" packed, and all of my electrical stuff seems to be charged.

Have a great day my friends! And an even better weekend!

PS - remember what I was worried about? Took one step to fixing it. Hmmm...

Hopefully some other munchkins will be at the party- only 3 rsvp'd and you never know if they will actually show at this age... Autumn went to a birthday party last weekend and she was the only one who showed up for the little girl! She'll atleast have all of her family there and that is what matters :)
