Breathing Obstacles and Sir Elton John

I'm such a knucklehead. I totally forgot to use my Nasanex this morning.. hence the whole, "I can't breathe" thing.

I thought for certain I dropped it in my purse (where it and everything else I own ends up,) but alas, I was wrong.

Did I mention how tired I am, yet? Nope? Okay.. well.. I'm tired. I went to a concert last night.

I like how that sounds.. it's like, "Hey.. I'm coool.. guess what I did? I scored some awesome tickets and sat two rows away from the stage. What did you do last night? Oh.. sat at home? That must have sucked."

Well..

The truth is.. I paid a pretty penny for those tickets and was pleasantly surprised when the seats I had were the ones right next to the stairs all of the band members had to go up to get to the stage. Pretty cool stuff.

Elton John was phenomenal.. no doubt. He performed for 2 hours and 40 minutes with absolutely no break. I got to hear all of my faves and that is always a good thing. (Tiny Dancer happens to be my favorite, with Sad Songs as my second fave.)

I danced a little, sang a little and tried my hardest to truly just experience the entire concert. He is REALLY good live and his band was really good.

I would say you should catch him sometime in concert, but I got word that this is the last time he plans to tour. Glad I caught a legend while I still could!

I originally bought these tickets as an early birthday present for the egyptian. He took the one ticket and kept it, and since we are not exactly on speaking terms.. I was not sure how this was going to work. Needless to say.. I ended up going to the concert by myself. Though he did show up, he never said a word to me. Not even a thank you. That's right - I left the tickets with his card on the kitchen counter and he never said a word. So he came to the concert separate. Watched it without saying anything. Then left abruptly once it was over.

I spent almost $200 for us to go to this.

I think he nailed the coffin in my decision.

So be it.

When this song was sung.. I tried so hard to choke back tears...

And that's all I have to say about that.

Ok girl . . . I can't really write what I really want to write, so I won't write it. I will just say that I am glad that you went. And I can't wait to her all about it. And perhaps when in person, I will tell you what I really want to tell you. HuGs!!!!!
