Do You Pursue Peace?

I slept really hard last night. It was the type of sleep that caused one arm to become completely numb, the skin to wrinkle a bit, and the side of my face to be red. That was an uninterrupted- sleep. Peaceful.

I know I had several dreams, none of which causes me any distress. Again - peaceful.

I got up this morning and made a perfect cup of coffee, and sat and gazed at the Christmas tree. A wave of peace just flooded me.

My Living Room

What I find so ironic is the fact that I don't feel well (suffering from massive equilibrium issues, possibly sinuses,) and my personal life is a bit of a mess- but I was able to find peace in the middle of what could be considered a bad day.

For that, I give thanks to God.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths."
- Proverbs 3:5-6

Sometimes when I am in the middle of my most stressful moments, I remember to just "Give it up to the Big Guy Upstairs"' and that gives me the peace I so desperately need. I hope you are doing ok - I think of you often. Hold on to that peace as long as you can!

First of all, LOVE the new blog look! Second, its been a minute since Ive caught up with you but I have also had such moments of peace as well lately. Today not starting as one of those peaceful days, I really needed this to remind me to find peace today. Thank you so much for sharing! Sometimes its the small things that we forget that impact us the greatest.

Absolutely, I do! Thanks for this lovely post, and especially for the scripture. :) Embracing the journey and the peace that comes through the confirmations, this being one of them.
