How I plan to Go RED for Women

Tomorrow is National Wear Red Day! I plan to Go Red - do you?
If you have been following my blog, you know I have several risk factors for cardiovascular disease. High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, elevated triglycerides, sleep apnea, Glucose Intolerance, obesity, and genetic risk factors. Oh yeah - and I am a woman.
I am approaching 37. Life is not exactly slowing down. So - I have to do something about it.
Tomorrow is one day - just one day - that we educate ourselves about our body. We draw awareness to this cause.
So - what am I going to do? Well, a little more than the average person - but I encourage each of you to do something.
For one, I will wear red. I have a pretty red shirt, and black skirt and heels. I think that is appropriate. Plus, I own a beautiful, sparkly red dress pin. I will add that. I will encourage women to "Join the Movement" - and I will attempt to make a difference in my life and other people I know.
This year we will Speak Up to Save Lives.
Good idea.
