YELLE

Though the band has been around since 2000, I know that the majority of people in my circle or in America for that matter, do not follow foreign music... so I thought I would share with you one of my favorite bands.

Yelle.

Yelle is a french band named after the lead singer. The band became famous in Europe after they posted an early verision of Je Veux Tu Voir on this Myspace page. That was in 2005. That song, catapulted them up the charts in France to a top five song of the year.

Their first album was called Pop Up, while their second album released in 2007 was called Safari Disco Club. (Yes, I own both.)

This band has a huge following overseas, all in non-English speaking countries. Which is a total shame America has not caught on. 

But here it is...

I want to share with you my absolute FAVORITE song by them: Je Veux Tu Voir.



So freaking catchy and adorable. I LOVE the style and hair of Yelle. (Actually.. it sort of inspired my current cut!) ;-) Though I can't pull the bangs off. ;-)
