Soooo....
Not surprised he was in Pakistan. Not surprised he was killed by American Special Forces.
I think we all need to be very careful with our celebration - due to the fact he leaves a legacy of followers, that are young, desperate and dangerous.
I think we are in even more danger. These young men, who have absolutely nothing to lose, will want retribution.
However, in time, perhaps without his power and money, this whole situation will fizzle...
I am glad he is no longer around to incite radicals, but I am afriad he has already infected so many with his poisonous words and ideology, there may be no escaping his legacy.
Just a few thoughts...

I have the same thoughts...

My thoughts exactly! I hope he isn't martyred the way I fear he could be. The backlash is brewing, imo.
He was a smart man, and I suspect he had a plan in case he died. I hope the government & military is prepared.
Yep. I worry about that too. But at the same time I hope this is a start of something good and more peaceful. And I keep hoping.
Looking at the tv I do cringe when I see US citizen celebrating. He was terrible and evil and it's good he is gone but his followers will not forget.
I couldn't agree more, Nicole. While I feel justice has been done, I do NOT celebrate this, and like the other commentors above, absolutely cringe at the sights that are being show on news channels. It's a scary time right now.
