Ain't it the truth? Je veux être gracieux. I really, really do.
(For those without the years of french under their belt - I simply want to be graceful.)
Grace is one thing I have always admired. I think that is why as a young child I was mesmerized by the dancers at the Ballet. I was so envious, that I insisted my mother enroll me in ballet classes at a young age.
Now, I could not confirm whether or not I was ever graceful. I did dance for many, many years. However, I do not know whether I actually exuded "grace" in my everyday life.
To the left is a picture of Cate Blanchette. I saw an interview with her on David Letterman. This woman was very "slinky." Reminded me of a cat. She slid out onto the stage, her movements were slow and calculated. She was, in a word, graceful.
Cate is definitely someone I would love to emulate.
Another very "poised" person (to me) is - Gwyneth Paltrow.
Gwyneth is another one who exudes confidence, mystery and grace. Below is another interview that shows - in my opinion, a lovely personality!
I would then say - another "graceful" woman would be - Natalie Portman.
Natalie is not only graceful, and an excellent actor - she is absolutely beautiful.
I have to note that each of these women are equally excellent actors (again in my opinion!)
Turns out - all of these women are not only talented, they are highly intelligent and educated. THAT is awesome.
I think I will now list other people I believe exude grace.
Meryl Streep
Kate Winslet
Scarlett Johannson
Nicole Kidman
Kiera Knightley
There you have - Grace.. Beauty.. Intelligence.. Talent.
These are qualities I admire in other women.
