This evening, Yasser and I spent a considerable amount of time at Party City, gathering items for the Casting Call for tomorrow morning for Go Red For Women.
While there, Yasser's eyes lit up! He saw so many little "toys" he said he remembered from his childhood. We kind of laughed and looked at the various "sweets." He kept asking did I know "Jelly Cola." I had no idea what he was talking about. Then I saw some "gummy items" - and he shrieks - That's It!!! I looked over and saw him pointing to little gummy coca cola bottles.
*giggle*
Well, tonight it got me thinking. What makes me excited as a child? There were definitely little toys. There were definitely songs - movies - tv shows.
I decided to turn to trusty You tube and share with you a few "tv" items I could find that remind me of my childhood.
If turning 13 - makes you a teenager - then my childhood was from 1973 - 1985.
