I've been trying a wide variety of holistic/organic recipes. Some involve the food I eat, and some actually involve using foods, herbs and oils for medicinal purposes.
Now let's talk about something I know MOST of us deal with- a sore achey back.
I found a simple aid ~ thyme and eucalyptus.
It's been said that thyme was used for medicinal purposes as early as 3,500 BC. Thyme was used to relieve asthma, coughs and colds; to kill yellow fever organisms; to reduce swelling provoked by gout; and to treat nervous disorders. The Romans, who believe that thyme promoted bravery, would frequently bathe in the herb before going to battle.
Eucalyptus oil enhances the action of thyme.
All you need is:
15 drops thyme essential oil
4 drops eucalyptus essential oil
Mix oils in hot bath water and soak for 15 minutes.
Follow us with a massage of your achey joints and you will feel an amazing difference!
