Things I have learned this week:
1. That eating out is a math problem. Money subtracted equals pounds added.
2. That most people can't handle it. The truth. Reality. Pain. You know... stuff.
3. Watching people commit suicide in a documentary was.. well.. not sad in a tearful way, but more so sad in a "You selfish prick.. now what?" sort of way.
4. I want to grow my hair out, but the older I get - the more I think women my age with really long hair look.. well.. ridiculous. I think I will keep it at the length it is.
5. My eyebrows do not grow out very fast. I guess all of those years of waxing was waaaay cheaper than laser hair removal.
6. No matter what I do, no matter how nice I am, no matter what I buy him - the egyptian will continue to ignore me most days.
7. BUT - we are not arguing. AND he is cooking for me... well.. at least for the people that we invite over.. and I get to pretend it is for me also, by default.
8. Sundays seem to be the token day the egyptian is nice to me. He chooses that one for date night. Dinner and a movie. Okay, I can live with that.
9. At the end of the day, if they don't like you - they'll find a reason to fire you. Just hope it's not my time. ;-)
10. These past two weeks have been a test of patience and for strength. I like to pretend the tension in my shoulders are actually muscles sprouting.
11. That I need to take life less seriously. I used to... I am not sure what happened.
12. That certain people surprise me every day. In a good way. There are a few brave souls who care to get close to me - and I appreciate them so much.
13. That sending me well wishes really can brighten my day. Especially, when I don't hear a whole lot of positive reinforcement.
14. Stitch witchery is a bunch of B.S. DOES. NOT. WORK. FOR. ME.
15. 5 year olds do not understand that just because they see and hear me on the webcam, does not mean I can see them... especially when they do not HAVE a webcam.
16. Cupcakes are cute. They are sweet. And really - they make me feel sick.
17. Glucasomine is my new best friend. True sign of aging.
18. An episode of Ally McBeal lightens my mood. I think it's my new drug.
19. That Henry Cavill is my new celeb crush. Not sure who he is? Check out the Tudors - He is Charles Brandon aka the Duke of Suffolk.
20. Finally - that this blog and my followers, are not ready for me to mature. I guess it's a mix of my life, my thoughts.. and well.. all of my mishaps. ;-)

Hehehe... if only you could have seen the frustration on her face as she kept holding the calculator closer and closer to your video :)
Sounds like a lot of learning... I hope you pursue your new mature blog - regardless of readership. Hope your weekend is a little brighter.
Great Post.
love Love Ally McBeal.
This is my fave: "people can't handle it. The truth. Reality. Pain. You know... stuff."
Love that you're with an Egyption and I'm with a Brit. Very Cool. XX
